Dr. Liff grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan before graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She moved to New York for an internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Manhattan before joining Pure Paws. When out of the office, she enjoys spinning, exploring new restaurants and traveling. Leah Reilly

Dr. Leah Reilly is an Associate Veterinarian at Pure Paws Veterinary Care at Clinton Hill. Dr. Reilly graduated from Cornell University 2003, and went on to earn their Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2015. They are USDA accredited, and DEA licensed. Their areas of professional interest include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Dr. Reilly was always interested in veterinary medicine, and explored other interests within biology for over 10 years between undergrad and vet school. Dr. Reilly then realized veterinary medicine was their passion, and began working in the veterinary field in 2015. Dr. Reilly says the best part about being a veterinarian is working with the animals and their people too!

Dr. Reilly grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in Brooklyn with their senior cat, Rosie, and a young Dachshund mix, Macaroni. When they are not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Reilly enjoys listening to podcasts, birdwatching in New York’s parks, and spending time at the beach in the summer.

Matthew Miller

Dr. Matt Miller is a Kentucky native who fell in love with New York after spending a summer writing for Slate magazine in 2016. Although his parents disliked animals, Dr. Miller discovered a passion for them by volunteering with friends at humane societies and rescue groups back home. He graduated from Auburn University's vet school in 2019 and has been practicing in the city since. He has special interests in pathology, neurology, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. He also continues to work extensively with animal rescue organizations in the city. In his free time, Dr. Miller works as a magazine editor, freelance journalist, and fiction writer.
